THE RIGHT (AND LEFT) WAY TO SET YOUR SIDE-VIEW MIRRORS
Setting your side-view mirrors to help eliminate blind spots requires you to use your head - literally.
- Left side-view mirror: While resting your cheek on the window, adjust the left-side mirror so you can see just beyond the vehicle's left side.
- Right side-view mirror: Align your head with the center of the rear-view mirror, then adjust the right-side mirror to see just beyond the right side.
Check your mirrors regularly to track other vehicles, in case you need to make emergency maneuvers.
