BMW Named Most Valuable Luxury Auto Brand

It's always flattering to be the best at something, but when it comes to selling cars, few measuring sticks are more important than the one that counts how much money an automaker actually brings in.  In terms of overall value, at least according to the 2013 BrandZ Top 100 global survey, which projects incoming revenue and overall value, BMW is the top luxury auto brand in the world right now, and the 24th most?

BMW Apps Adds Glympse and Three More to Arsenal

When the iPhone first came out, one of its most popular marketing slogans was "There's an app for that," and that particular slogan continues to grow truer by the year, not only for Apple products for Android products, as well.  In today's day and age, there really is very little that a smartphone can't do, and when used in conjunction with a BMW vehicle's voice-activated infotainment system, we here at Center?
If there's one thing auto shows are good for, it's stirring up optimism for the future of the BMW brand, thanks largely to concept vehicles that give us all some insight into what we might expect to drive a few years down the road.

The BMW X4 crossover concept, which will debut at Shanghai's huge auto show later in the month, is one such automobile, and while we've only seen pictures…

There's a good chance that you've never even heard of BMW i Ventures, but don't worry if you haven't.  All you need to know is that it's a BMW service that looks at making partnerships with start-up companies that improve mobility services in urban areas.  In other words, with the BMW i3 coming to dealerships later this year, we here at Center BMW want to make sure that drivers can…

At some point in the future, cars are going to be able to drive themselves.  Admit it-you've had certain long drives where you wished you could read a book or watch a movie while someone else drove the car for you; well, that may be a possibility someday thanks to technology that our BMW engineers are working to fine-tune.

Actually, Center BMW customers like yourselves may be surprised to know that there actually are…

BMW 3 Series Coupe Gains a Number

Every few years or so, cars get generational upgrades, which usually means a facelift, the addition of some new interior features, and maybe an engine tune-up to provide more power and/or efficiency.  What happens less often during these upgrades is a major name change, but that's what's on deck for the next generation of two-door BMW 3 Series, which will begin going by the name BMW 4 Series Coupe.

It's actually…

BMW Ad Shows There's No Road Like the Road Home

A good commercial-especially a good Christmas commercial-is a challenging thing to do the right way.  Everybody is feeling all warm and fuzzy this time of year, but many folks are very wary of the over-commercialization of the holidays in recent years.  Despite that, automakers still have to advertise because people tend to watch a lot of television in December, so how do you pull on people's heartstrings and get them interested in your brand…

BMW Night Vision To Debut in 2012 7 Series

A lot of automakers are putting a ton of attention into improving technologies for their cars, trucks, and SUVs, and the latest developments have included everything from Bluetooth-enabled infotainment systems to advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane assist.  But BMW dealers like ourselves have one thing that all the other automakers don't-night vision.

What would a driver need with night vision?  A lot actually, especially if you're someone who lives…

BMW Models Highlight Top Bond Movie Cars

We here at Center BMW are guessing that we're not alone in saying that we love James Bond movies, and many of our employees here have been loving them for a very, very long time.  How long, exactly?  Believe it or not, this year marks the 50th anniversary of the first Bond movie, and Forbes magazine celebrated by making a fun little list of the best cars to have ever appeared in a Bond…

Win $30K By Designing BMW's Next Urban Vehicle

One of the reasons reality competition shows are so popular on television today is because they give normal folks hope that they could turn into a star just like any other celebrity, because programs like "Shark Tank" and "America's Got Talent" allow pretty much anyone to take a stab at their dreams.  They're just televised contests, but their popularity have brought some pretty great ideas to the world that might not have gotten…
