The new BMW 6 series Gran Coupe is now available for dealer order

We have just learned exclusively that the new BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is now available for order at your local BMW dealership.

BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe goes on sale in 2012 and will be initially equipped with the 3.0-liter Twin-power turbocharged engine. The equipment level and options are very similar to the recently released 6 Series Coupe.

We recently sat down with Albert Biermann, Head of Product Development for BMW at the German automaker's high performance M division, to get a taste of what's going on behind the scenes. We had a lot of questions, and Biermann did his best to answer them without giving his PR minders heart palpitations.

What did we learn? Plenty. But here are the highlights: The M wagon is dead, all-wheel drive won't be coming to the current M5, the M6 is due to hit in the summer, and offering a manual transmission on BMW's twin-turbocharged sports sedan is a massive headache thanks to us pesky Americans.

All-new BMW 3 Series Sedan officially revealed

After a lot of speculations, spy photos and renderings, we finally see the sixth generation of the BMW 3 Series without any camouflage. The new BMW 3 Series is also known as F30 and comes to continue a successfully story written by the previous models, vehicles sold in more than 12 million units since 1975. In terms of dimensions, the new BMW 3 Series is slightly bigger than its predecessor with a 50 mm longer wheelbase for a total of 2,8 meters. According to the company, the increased dimensions will provide more legroom and headroom for the passengers.
