BMW Needs You To Help Olympic Athletes!

Any readers with kids know what a headache a fundraiser can be. How many times have we had to take our kid's order form for $20 chocolates to our workplace and try to pressure our coworkers into buying something? How often have we turned away church kids knocking on our doors at home trying to sell us magazine subscriptions? There are silent auctions and raffles and special fundraising nights at restaurants, but outside of probably the Girl Scouts and their delicious cookies, it's hard to find a fundraiser in which everybody leaves the situation happy.
Well, consider BMW's "Drive for Team USA" the Girl Scout cookies of automotive fundraising, because you will absolutely leave the experience feeling good about yourself, and money will be going to a good cause. The best part is that it isn't even your money! BMW does the donating for you!
The "Drive for Team USA" promotion donates $10 to the U.S. Olympics program every time a consumer comes in and drives one of the tour's special 2012 BMW 328i models. These are fully loaded, tagged with the Olympic rings on the door, and ready to be test-driven by a whole bunch of people.
For Santa Monica BMW fans that are interested in this, just check out the "Drive for Team USA" website and see when the tour will be near us, then head down on that day, go for a cruise, and help our Olympic athletes get some extra funding from BMW. This fundraiser is by no means a headache-certainly more fun than peddling overpriced chocolate-and everybody wins as a result. Who could dislike that?
