2013 BMW M5 Named to Robb Report's "Best of the Best"

Every year, millions of people head out to all sorts of different dealerships all over the world in the hopes of finding the perfect car.  They read reviews, check prices online, and test drive their rear ends off, all in an attempt to track down that perfect balance between cost and value.  This is the process for most consumers, because frankly, not all consumers can run out and buy a European sports car with a million horsepower whenever they feel like it.

But if it were as easy as simply asking, "What is the very best car available today, regardless of price?" then we'd all probably all own a 2013 BMW M5.  How can we make such a claim, that our luxury sedan is the best of the best?  Because we didn't make the claim; Robb Report, which compiles a huge annual list of that year's best in luxury items, did.  They put our popular M5 at the top of the list for luxury sedans, meaning it literally is the "Best of the Best," at least in their eyes.  (And ours, obviously).

The most notable change for the 2013 model year M5 is the engine.  We've gotten rid of the V10 in favor of a slick new V8 that maintains a good amount of the power while adding some fuel economy.  That, in addition to the undeniably luxurious exterior of the car, is among the criteria that got it on the Robb Report list, and we BMW dealers in Los Angeles are hoping it stays there for many years to come.
