BMW On Demand Getting A Shot in U.S.

There are people that come into Center BMW all the time just to window shop. People love BMW vehicles in general, so this shouldn't come as too big a surprise, but what we always feel bad about is those people who really want a BMW but tell us they would never be able to afford one. And that's a sad reality; not everybody who wants a BMW can afford to own one.
That shouldn't mean, however, that everybody who wants a BMW can't drive one for the weekend. Thanks to a new program called BMW On Demand, that's exactly what's going to be available to certain New York customers while we test out the success of people renting a BMW 328i for an hour, a day, or a weekend. Of course, Santa Monica BMW dealers all seem to be in agreement about the fact that this would be a very cool thing to offer in the L.A. area as well, but we'll have to wait to see how it does in the Tri-State Area first.
There also has been early speculation that the 328i might not be the only vehicle that is eventually offered through BMW On Demand. For now, that one makes a lot of sense since the 3 Series is our best-selling car, but if things go well with that there's a good chance for expansion, and convenient BMW rental will be easier than ever before. Then, even those people who swore they would never be able to afford a BMW can have the chance to pretend like they do, even if it's for a short time.
