BMW In Top 3 of APEAL Survey Again

Consumers are generally happiest with their cars when they first buy them, and the reasons why shouldn't be too big a mystery.  New cars work the way they're supposed to.  No scratches, no mechanical issues, no rips or stains.  Brand new cars are the best cars in the world, and the best models (like those we sell here at Center BMW, for example) remain reliable and in good shape for the duration of ownership.

Unfortunately, while all cars start off great, they don't all stay that way, which is why J.D. Power & Associates run their Automotive Performance, Execution, and Layout (APEAL) survey every year.  The point is to see which cars are still making their owners happy after 90 days of ownership, and happily, Santa Monica BMW dealers sell one of the top three brands in the industry, according to the survey.

It's the second year in a row that BMW finished in the top three, which means ours are holding up well after the initial purchase.  Over 74,000 owners of three-month-old vehicles were polled on 80 different measures for their cars, so it's not like the results are objective or marginalized.  It's not often that 74,000 people are all wrong at the same time, right?

Our 3 Series vehicles are a big reason why we find ourselves in high standing with J.D. Power again, but all of our cars-from the 1 Series to the 7 Series-have reviewed positively with our customers.  Chances are, we'll finish high on the APEAL survey again next year, too.
